The Red Bud High School Student of the Month is Ariha Root. She is an active student, particularly in music and theater. Root recently achieved two Best of Room awards and first place finishes at the IHSA Solo and Ensemble Contest. She was nominated by band teacher Matt Fisher, who noted that Root is a “kind and amazing young woman, who has been nothing but an asset” in the classroom.
