Over the weekend, several Red Bud residents noticed and reported that their water appeared to be discolored.
On Tuesday, Red Bud City Superintendent Josh Eckart noted, “The City of Red Bud’s water department is aware of the water quality issues from this past weekend and apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused. The water treatment staff worked diligently this weekend to locate and fix the problem. A partial blockage was found in a chemical feed line that caused the water treatment issue. This issue has been resolved.”
