Catholic Schools Week 2021 will begin on Sunday, Jan. 31. This is a weeklong celebration sponsored by the National Catholic Education Association with special activities across the United States. St. John the Baptist Catholic School is proud to be a part of this national association that supports and encourages strong educational programs in a faith-filled environment.
St. John’s is part of the Diocese of Belleville’s education system that has 25 elementary schools and three high schools as members. The diocesan elementary schools vary in size from 50 to 495 students, but all schools can boast of strong Catholic identity, high academic standards, competitive athletic programs and a strong child protection monitoring system. This year each diocesan school is committed to providing in-school learning in a safe environment during the COVID crisis.
