Sister Joan M. Stoverink, ASC, 73, of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, died peacefully at 5:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Benedictine Living Community in Belleville. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16 from 12:45-1:30 p.m. at Benedictine Living Community Chapel at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, with the funeral mass to follow at the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in the ASC Convent Cemetery in Ruma. Pechacek Funeral Homes in Red Bud is in charge of arrangements.
