SHED FIRE–On New Year’s Day, there was a shed fire on LL Road. The Republic-Times shared this picture from the scene.
Around 4:49 p.m. on Jan. 1, the Red Bud Fire Department was paged for a structure fire in the 8500 block of LL Road, north of Red Bud.
Red Bud Fire Chief Sean Landgraf noted that it was a farm shed that was fully involved in fire upon their arrival. He added that the Hecker, Baldwin and Prairie du Rocher Fire Departments helped battle the blaze by providing tankers and manpower. Landgraf reported they were on scene for just under two hours.
