School board considers security upgrades

Upgrades for the security surveillance systems at both school buildings was the biggest topic of discussion at the Sept. 21 Red Bud Board of Education meeting.

Superintendent Jonathan Tallman noted that setting up security cameras for the elementary school’s new gymnasium expansion has brought about questions about the entire system.

“CTS is wiring cameras at the elementary school (expansion) right now, but they don’t have anything to plug into,” he stated. “We could buy another DVR or switch to WAVE.”
