Sadly, last week the Lady Musketeer varsity softball team only played three out of five games due to the weather. After the rain, they traveled to Waterloo to play the Bulldogs on Friday, April 15th.
The Bulldogs led the Lady Musketeers in the first inning, scoring four runs from the start. Red Bud managed to pull out the victory, defeating the Waterloo Bulldogs 9-5 after coming back in the sixth inning, scoring seven runs. Lyla Hess was in the circle for the Musketeers, striking out seven batters. At the plate, Allie Zipfel, Addi Dilley, Crewe Wagner, and Jayna Bast dominated, managing two hits to lead the team.
