Ruth Ann (Brenning) Cortner, 79, of Waterloo, passed away Aug. 30, 2022, in Red Bud. The visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 5 and from 8:30-9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo. The funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church in Hecker with Father Linus Umoren, Father Von Deeke and Father Gene Neff officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
