Randolph County Sheriff Jarrod Peters has announced the arrest of a Prairie du Rocher woman for falsifying a report of burglary at her home
On Monday, Feb. 27, Randolph County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home in Prairie du Rocher for a report of residential burglary.
Responding deputies took the initial report and requested Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services to process the home to secure any potential evidence. The initial report stated that the residence was burglarized during the afternoon hours on Feb. 27, with $2,400 cash, an Apple watch and Apple iPad being stolen.
