HARD AT WORK–Pictured on Sunday are workers placing a new pipe as part of the required road work that closed a section of West Market Street in Red Bud over the weekend.
Last weekend, it may have been considered quite the inconvenience for people trying to travel through Red Bud, but the roadwork on West Market Street has been completed.
A small section of the street between Rock and Spring Streets was shut down by the Illinois Department of Transportation to make pavement repairs. The shut down started on Friday, March 5 with a reduction to one lane, then went to a full closure early in the morning on Saturday, March 6.
