A Red Bud woman passed away following an accident that took place last Friday morning in town.
According to police, on Nov. 15, a two vehicle accident was called in at 8:54 a.m. at the intersection of West Market Street and Linn Street in Red Bud.
Additional details about how the accident happened were unavailable by press time as it is still under investigation, but it was noted that William Reese, 47, of Sparta, was driving a 2012 Ford F-150 Raptor eastbound on Market Street, while Sandra Vessels, 68, of Red Bud, was driving a Ford Escape westbound on Market Street.
