Soon, people will be able to snap a selfie with a sign featuring a redbud tree and stating “The Bud” in downtown Red Bud.
The Red Bud Chamber of Commerce has been working for some time on trying to get this sign set up in town. They envisioned something similar to the “The Loo” sign featured in Waterloo near the Monroe County Courthouse. This would be a great feature for tourism.
At a Red Bud city council special meeting on July 20, Alderman Rodney Nevois gave an update on the sign.
