Presentation made to RBFD and Brett’s First Responders group

PRESENTED DONATIONS–Thanks to an outpouring of support from the community, the family of Chad Grohmann was able to raise $18,000 at the inaugural Jeep run in his memory, held on Jan. 1. The family donated $6,000 to the Red Bud Fire Department and $12,000 to the Brett’s First Responders organization. Pictured at the presentation are: Red Bud Fire Chief Sean Landgraf, Todd Korves of Brett’s First Responders, Taryn Grohmann and Jack Korves of Brett’s First Responders.

On Jan. 30, at a Red Bud Fire Department meeting, a special presentation was made by the family of Chad Grohmann.

Grohmann, who was a Red Bud fireman, passed away on Jan. 20, 2024. In memory of Grohmann, a memorial Jeep run was held on Jan. 1 of this year with proceeds going to Brett’s First Responders.

Brett’s First Responders is an organization that provides support to families of first responders that died or were injured while off-duty. The organization was formed by the family of Brett Korves, a Swansea fireman who was killed in a car accident, when his family discovered there was not an organization that could help the families of first responders that are injured or die outside the line of duty.
