On the morning of July 22, Drew Peterson returned again to Randolph County, appearing for a hearing in Judge Richard Brown’s courtroom to challenge his 2016 conviction.
Peterson’s story is quite an interesting one.
A retired police officer from Bolingbrook, IL, Peterson made national headlines in 2007 when his fourth wife, Stacy (Cales) Peterson, went missing. As his third wife, Kathleen Savio, had only died a few years prior, this aroused suspicion and a second autopsy was done. In 2009, Peterson was indicted for the murder of Savio.
