A banner honoring local veteran Paul Rowold is currently on display outside of the Red Bud VFW Post.
Pictured with the banner are his sons: Clyde, the senior vice at VFW Post 6632 and junior vice for VFW District 14, and Melvin Rowold, member Auxiliary to VFW Post 6632.
The banner pictured next to Paul’s is for his brother Otto.
