Pair charged for burglary in Randolph County

On March 31, Randolph County Sheriff Jarrod Peters announced that charges were filed against a pair in connection to burglaries in the rural Prairie du Rocher area.

Peters noted that on March 3, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to investigate a burglary on Buzzard Rock Road in rural Prairie du Rocher. Detectives were able to identify a possible suspect, which led them into Monroe County. While coordinating with investigators from Monroe County, it was discovered that the alleged suspect vehicle was also used in a residential burglary in rural Monroe County.
