Last Friday, Oct. 25, the Red Bud Southwestern Illinois College campus hosted their annual Octo-Boo-Fest. The event featured trunk-or-treating, an inflatable bounce house and slide, and an inflatable photo booth. Visitors could also complete crafts, as well as enjoy hot chocolate and popcorn served by SWIC volunteers. Trunks for trunk-or-treating were hosted by: State Representative David Friess, SWIC Board Trustee Tracy Vallett and Randolph County Circuit Clerk Julie Jany-Carnahan, the Randolph County YMCA, Jay’s Auto Repair & Towing, the Healthy Communities Alliance, NAMI, the Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois, IDCFS, the Red Bud SWIC campus and the SWIC nursing program.
