The Randolph County Cutters & Strutters Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation hosted their Annual JAKES Day on Saturday, Aug. 22 at the World Shooting & Recreational Complex in Sparta.
Upon registering, each youth participant received a custom-designed JAKES T-shirt. As last year, there was no registration fee. The $10 fee per youth was paid by the RCCS Chapter of the NWTF. The event was attended by 80 youth and 78 adults (including parents, volunteers and RCCS staff).
JAKES (Juniors Acquiring Knowledge, Ethics and Sportsmanship) Day is designed to let the youth have fun participating in hands-on outdoor activities.
