At the March 19 Red Bud Board of Education meeting, the board unanimously approved of hiring Stephanie Mohr as the new principal for Red Bud Elementary School.
Current RBES Principal Mitch North submitted his resignation, effective at the end of this school year, at the board’s February meeting. He will be moving on to be the principal at Waterloo Junior High School this fall.
District Superintendent Jonathan Tallman noted that the district had some really good candidates apply for the position, but they felt Mohr would be the best fit.
