There’s some new learning technology at the Red Bud Public Library thanks to a donation from the Red Bud Lions in memory of one of their members.

A special dedication was held on July 23 for the library’s two new AWE Learning computers, with several Lions in attendance, as well as Mary Lou Mehring.

Red Bud Lions Club Secretary David Wittenauer noted that the club had discussed at a recent meeting that they had funds they wanted to use to do something for the community.

He added that in the past, the library had solicited for computers and at that time the Lions bought them. This time, the library had been looking into AWE Learning computers and had that on their wish list.
