The Red Bud Musketeers finished the 2023 regular season with a blow-out win over the Oilers in Wood River Friday night. The boys took a while to get on track offensively, scoring their first touchdown on a one yard quarterback keeper by Dylan Oliver with under a minute in the opening frame to take a 7-0 lead.

During the second quarter, Red Bud erupted with two more touchdowns capped by runs of eight yards by junior running back Gavin Baldwin and later a three yard dive by senior back Trace Wagner. Uncharacteristically, the Musketeers missed both PAT attempts making the score at the half 19-0.
