The RBHS boys basketball team played in the Sparta Mid-Winter Classic last week and they played extremely well, landing the bronze trophy in the process, and they came very close to getting a shot at the gold.

The first game was against the Waterloo Bulldogs. In the first matchup between these two teams, Red Bud was able to keep it close, but lost thanks in no small part to the overwhelming size difference. In Wednesday’s game, right away it was easy to see a defensive strategy was being deployed to slow down the Bulldog bigs, and it worked extremely well.
