Red Bud got back in the win column last week with a strong effort in Carlyle Friday night. The teams entered the contest with identical 2-1 records in three non-conference games thus far this season and played to a scoreless tie in the first quarter.
The Musketeers began to find their rhythm in the second quarter, putting together a drive capped by a three yard touchdown run by Lucas Schwartzkopf with 4:10 to play in the second quarter. Lane Brockmeyer kicked the PAT to give Red Bud a 7-0 lead at the half.
