The Musketeers took on the Yellow Jackets of New Athens in the consolation championship game of the Sesser-Valier Holiday Tournament on Dec. 29.
The Teers found themselves down early in the game. New Athens was a team that full-court pressed for 32 minutes, but that didn’t worry the boys as they still fought hard. Senior guard Luke Quintin knocked down 3 three pointers to help the Musketeers go into the locker room leading 29-27 at the half.
