Join the Friends of Illinois Nature Preserves stewards and volunteers for “Moths til Midnight” at Paul Wightman Subterranean Nature Preserve (PWSNP) in Monroe County on Sunday, June 26.
This educational program will be focused on moth identification and moth ecology. The event will begin with a brief presentation about moths at 8 p.m. by Friends leader, Deanna Deterding, M.S. Her research studied the relationship between moths and prairie plant community composition in tall grass prairie restorations.
