This past week the Lady Musketeers participated in the Gibault Candy Cane Classic. This tournament always has some good competition for the team to face.
The team opened play last Tuesday against the Mehlville Panthers. They had never faced this team before and were eager for some new competition. The Lady Musketeers came out very slow in the first half and couldn’t keep up with the Panthers. They trailed 27-7 at the half with Lilly Minemann having 4 points followed by Addy Piel with 3. The second half also started out a little rocky for the Lady Musketeers and by the time they were ready to play in the fourth quarter, the damage was already done with no time to make up the point difference. The final score was 46-20 with Minemann as the leading scorer with 9 points.
