The first half of last Wednesday’s game against Gibault did not go as expected. The Lady Musketeers and the Lady Hawks were expected to have a thrilling game. The Hawks were ready for a revenge game as the Musketeers defeated the Hawks in their tournament at Gibault. However, Red Bud came out flat and only scored 10 points to the Hawks’ 23 points in the first half.
The second half was a whole new game for Red Bud. The intensity was turned up on both offense and defense. The Musketeers scored 17 points in the third quarter and limited the Hawks to eight points. However, it was not enough to beat the Hawks, as the Musketeers lost 33-43.
