For three centuries, the French tradition of La Guiannee has been honored in Prairie du Rocher. The new year is fast approaching, and plans have been finalized for New Year’s Eve.
Plans are as follows:
Immediately following 5 p.m. Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, La Guiannee will enter the church and sing. At approximately 7, the group can be seen and heard on the front porch of the Creole House. Following that appearance, the group will travel to Lisa’s, The Rocher Pub and the American Legion to sing outside. Other venues to be announced later.
