The Red Bud High School athletes for the month of December are seniors Lyla Hess and Sam Easter. Hess was nominated by girls basketball coach Eli Rogers. Boys basketball coach Dane Walter nominated Easter.
During the month of December, Lyla scored 109 points, had 14 assists, 30 steals, 51 rebounds and went 35-46 (76%) from the line.
Sam scored 80 points and grabbed 42 rebounds over the month of December.
