The Heartland Chapter of Verein Deutsch-Drahthaar Group North America (VDD-GNA) will host the prestigious International Armbruster on Oct. 22–25 at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex in Sparta.
This internationally recognized event will bring together the elite of the elite Deutsch-Drahthaar hunting dogs and their handlers from around the world. The Armbruster is one of the most rigorous and respected hunting dog competitions, evaluating the versatility, skill and breeding excellence of this German hunting breed known for its exceptional performance in the field.
The highlight of the weekend is the Parade of Dogs, open to the public on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 9 a.m. Spectators will see these elite dogs presented in traditional style, showcasing their conformation, training and heritage.
