Greene “Hoot” Gibson, Jr., 88, of Red Bud, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10 from 1-2 p.m. at Red Bud Bible Church (formerly First Baptist Church in Red Bud). The memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church with Rev. Paul Kurrelmeyer officiating. A private inurnment was held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. Pechacek Funeral Home in Red Bud is in charge of the arrangements.
