ADVANCE–Musketeer golfers Kruz Koester and Porter Donjon competed as individuals on day two of the IHSA state finals held at Prairie Vista Golf Course in Bloomington. Koester, a senior, finished his high school career with a 169 two day score for 54th place overall. Donjon’s score of 162 was the lowest freshman score and 32nd overall.
The Musketeer boys golf team wrapped up the 2025 season at the state tournament held at Prairie Vista Golf Course in Bloomington last week. The team missed the cut to advance to day two, but two players, Senior Kruz Koester and Freshman Porter Donjon shot well enough to advance to the final day.
“This was certainly a one of a kind experience for all over players, from the formalities to official starter on hole one, and larger crowds, it was all well deserved,” said Coach Brock Quigley.
