Geography Bee Winners

St. John’s Lutheran School held its annual Geography Bee on March 18. Officially, the National Geographic Society did not plan to host a bee this year because of COVID-19. However, the school decided to host a bee because they have participated since it began. Questions and format were taken from previous year questions. The school made history in that this is the first year ever that all three places were attained by females as in the past this has been a male dominated competition. Only two other females have won the bee during school history and they were Katrina Brundage and Claudia Waters. Pictured are the winners: Summer Luttman, first place; Eva Kinney, second place; and Addalyn Schloemann, third place.
