
HONORING OFFICER ROSCOW–The funeral for Officer Jason Roscow was held Monday morning in Prairie du Rocher. The procession route from the church to cemetery was lined with numerous fire departments honoring Roscow. The Evansville Fire Department is pictured posted at the Prairie du Rocher Park as the procession passed by.
It was a solemn weekend for the local community, as fallen North Las Vegas Police Officer Jason Roscow made his final trip home to Prairie du Rocher.
Roscow, 46, was killed in the line of duty on Feb. 4 during a shooting incident with a suspect in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
Originally from Prairie du Rocher, Roscow had been a member of the fire department there prior to enlisting in the Air Force. He also became a lifetime member of both the Prairie du Rocher American Legion and the Red Bud VFW Post.
