An equipment purchase and various updates were the main topics of discussion at Monday night’s Evansville Village Board meeting.
Last month, it was brought to the board’s attention that Village Superintendent Ed Braun was looking into getting a new sewer jetter. Trustee Travis Hall had reported that the village’s current one was 43 years old, was leaking and needed to be fixed.
Village President Kenny Kempfer wondered if parts were even available for the old jetter. He also questioned if it would be cheaper to get a new one versus repairing the old one.
At that point, the board agreed to explore options and revisit the matter at their November meeting.
