An ongoing drainage issue was discussed with the Evansville Village Board at their July 13 meeting.
Resident Vicki Thompson has addressed the board previously about water drainage/flow across her property on Spring Street.
Each time it rains, water floods her yard, often bringing trash from other properties. She has tried planting various plants, placed mulch and rocks, but it keeps getting washed away. The water has taken out her ditch and a retaining wall. It also pools in several areas, leading to an increase of mosquitoes.
