Park improvements and trash contracts were some of the bigger items discussed at the March 14 Evansville Village Board meeting.
Trustee Barry Greer reported that the timber borders for the park they had approved of back in January had been installed. Now they just need to put in the mulch.
Clerk Nancy Schilling noted that there was an issue with that though, as she called to order the mulch she talked to a different representative than who originally gave them the quote. This person said that the quote the board already approved was wrong.
