Elaine Marie Schulte, 88, of Red Bud, and formerly of Chester, passed away at 6:05 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023 at Red Bud Regional Hospital surrounded by her three children. The visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 6 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud. The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 6 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Msgr. Dennis Schaefer officiating. Private burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Chester. Pechacek Funeral Homes in Red Bud is in charge of arrangements.
