David A. Burgdorf

David A. Burgdorf, 41, of Red Bud, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in Columbia. He was born Sept. 6, 1981 in Red Bud to Richard and Kathleen (Sauerhage) Burgdorf.
He is survived by: his father: Richard Burgdorf; brothers: Kevin and Richie Burgdorf; aunts: Carol Burgdorf, Luann Buehler, Sharon, Mary Alice and Jeanne; and uncles: Marty, Michael and Larry; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by: his mother: Kathleen Sauerhage; and grandparents: George and Eileen Sauerhage and Martin and Alice Burgdorf, Sr.
David loved games, playing bingo and doing puzzles – word searches were some of his favorites. He also enjoyed coloring and walking.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 8 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Red Bud with Rev. Mark Nebel officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery.
The visitation was Monday, May 8 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Red Bud. In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Leesman Funeral Home in Red Bud was in charge of arrangements.
