A favorable report was given for the county’s audit at the April 26 Randolph County Board of Commissioners meeting.
Ethan Welply and Rich Sessler from Schmersahl Treloar & Co. were on hand to present the annual audit, with Welply discussing the findings with the board.
He noted that the county saw an increase in net assets/profits this past year, however the county’s cash reserves went down. Much of this was due to the county’s investment in fixed assets, such as vehicles for the highway department and sheriff’s office, as well as building improvements.
