What’s next for the Randolph County Care Center was discussed at the Randolph County Board of Commissioners meeting on July 8.
Board Chairman Marc Kiehna noted that the results of the two questions concerning the care center in the June 28 primary election were interesting, with one passing and the other not.
The two questions, one being an advisory question and the other a referendum question, if passed would have allowed the commissioners to utilize American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to renovate the care center, as well as add a behavioral care center and create another entity to operate the facility.
