A COVID-19 update was the biggest part of the Dec. 23 Randolph County Board of Commissioners meeting.
We saw a slight decline this week in cases,” noted Randolph County Health Department Administrator Angela Oathout. She added that while there has been a slight decline in active cases recently, she does anticipate a rise after Christmas.
She also reported that they continue to administer vaccines and the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) held a vaccine clinic there the previous week, administering around 130 shots.
