Renovation work for the Randolph County Care Center continues, as the county commissioners approved more project bids at their Dec. 20 meeting.
Mike Schneider of Quadrant Design was on hand to discuss the bids, which were opened on Dec. 18.
He noted that these bids covered several aspects of the project including interior and exterior renovations, bathing rooms, doors, ramps and more.
“We were very pleased to received five bids,” Schneider stated. He then reported that the low bid was from Holland Construction Services of Swansea. Their bid was for $1,010,000. This came in at less than the estimate which was $1,200,000.
