After a week off from match play, the Musketeers boys golf team was ready to get back into competition.
The team started off the week on Aug. 28th with a quad-match against Freeburg, Breese Central, and Wesclin at St. Clair Country Club. The course was challenging but the team gained valuable experience at a competitor’s course. Leading the team, Kruz Koester carded a 44. Ryker Papenberg and Jack Muench followed Koester with a pair of 46’s. Taking the fourth spot was Gentry Donjon with a 47. The boys put up a team score of 183, taking a win against Wesclin and two losses against Freeburg and Breese Central.
