The Red Bud Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Month for May was Discovery Youth Center. Karen Valerius, pictured, opened the center in September 2005 and currently has 22 employees. They currently provide a safe, learning environment for 100 kids, with a maximum capacity of 150. Valerius noted that at Discovery Youth, they put an emphasis on the children and their families.
