TAKE SECOND PLACE–Jack Ford and Matthew Nowak are pictured with their awards after taking second place at the Bass Club’s first tournament of the year, held March 6 at Lake Egypt.
The Red Bud Musketeers and Royals Bass Club circuit started the year on March 6 at Lake Egypt with some rain and a cold north wind, but that didn’t seem to bother the young fishermen and women.
Tyler Deien and Brandon Trame placed third with a limit of five fish for 10.25 pounds, but also had the big bass of 4.69 pounds. They are from Central High School with coach Kris Deien.
