SPOKE AT CEREMONY–Guest speakers at the Red Bud High School Sept. 11 ceremony were retired Brig. Gen. Michael J. Glisson, Red Bud Police Chief John Brittingham and Red Bud Fire Chief Sean Landgraf.
With it being the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, two memorial ceremonies were held in Red Bud.
The first was held in conjunction with the Red Bud Chamber of Commerce’s annual golf tournament.
“As we gather for this tournament, we pause to remember Sept. 11, 2001 – a day that forever changed our nation,” stated Chamber President Cole Stenzel. “Twenty-five years have passed, yet the memories remain vivid: the shock, the loss, the courage and the unity that followed.”
