Kirk E. Mudd, 46, of Prairie du Rocher, passed away at 11:40 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026, at Red Bud Regional Hospital. Visitation will be held on Monday, Aug. 31 from 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday, Sept. 1 from 8-9:30 a.m. at Pechacek Funeral Homes in Red Bud. The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 1 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher with Fr. Iuvenis Iheme, Fr. Sebastian Ukoh, and Msgr. Dennis Schaefer officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Ruma.
