Alderman also addressed complaint about event venue
It was a short meeting for the Red Bud City Council on Monday, with most of the items on the evening’s agenda approved on the consent agenda. However, two items were also briefly discussed.
First was the closing date for the city pool. Alderman Kyle Donjon noted that pool manager Karla Landgraf had asked if they could keep the pool open a little longer this year. (Last year the pool closed on Aug. 10 as students were going back to school.)
Donjon said that Landgraf would like to keep the pool open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This would add an estimated 39 hours of lifeguard time, which there is money in the budget for.
