The Randolph County Cutters & Strutters Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, will be hosting their NWTF Hunting Heritage Banquet Friday, March 6 at the American Legion Post 622 in Prairie du Rocher, 509 Henry St. Doors will open at 5 p.m., dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
Funds raised from the banquets are directed through the NWTF to support many projects throughout Illinois for the wild turkey and other habitat species. In addition to supporting the wild turkey habitat, local NWTF chapters can apply for funding to support community activities, high school scholarships, JAKES Youth Day activities and wing shooting educational programs for women and youth.
